Let’s go beyond
There are 1.8 million people living within a 30-mile radius of our broadcast location. It’s an area we call “Journey City”, and we have a dream to help them find Jesus and follow him fully.
Everything we do is driven by our desire to see God’s kingdom grow. We don’t just create spaces for our church to exist, but to see God’s will be done in Journey City.
As the kingdom of darkness seeks to oppress people through hunger, homelessness, addiction, racial injustice, poverty, isolation, mental and physical disabilities and illnesses, and despair, we will be the hands and feet of Jesus liberating people. One humble act of serving at a time, we reach those who feel as if they have no voice and no hope. We will let our good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise our heavenly Father.
In fact, in (Isaiah 62:10-11 NLT) it says:
Go out through the gates!
Prepare the highway for my people to return!
Smooth out the road; pull out the boulders;
raise a flag for all the nations to see.
The Lord has sent this message to every land:
“Tell the people of Israel,
‘Look, your Savior is coming.See, he brings his reward with him as he comes.’”
