Journey Students exists to help students find Jesus and follow Him fully. This happens through three environments: gathering at Converge, connecting through a J-Group and serving on the J-Team.

Converge

(1st Tuesday of the month at 6:30pm at our Newark location)

Join us for our monthly gathering on the first Tuesday of every month. Students experience powerful worship and an uplifting message they can apply daily. The night doesn’t stop there! After the gathering, students create unforgettable memories with friends and leaders during an afterparty filled with unique and engaging activities, exclusive giveaways, and students’ favorite thing: food! You do not want to miss this night. Converge is the perfect way to ignite a passionate curiosity for Jesus and faith for those new to church.

Student J-Groups

We believe we weren’t created to do life alone, which is why we have Student J-Groups! J-Groups give students the opportunity to connect with others their age, sharing experiences and navigating life’s challenges together. Led by our dedicated Journey Student leaders, these groups meet at their locations, offering a space where students can build meaningful relationships, grow in faith, and understand that Jesus loves them unconditionally and has a great purpose for their lives. Through J-Groups, lifelong friendships are formed, and life-changing stories unfold time and time again.

Serving on the J-Team

Who did you need when you were growing up? What if you could be that person for the next generation? Journey Students is all about creating a space where middle and high schoolers can grow in their faith, build lasting relationships, and discover their purpose. But they can’t do it alone—they need leaders who will show up, invest in them, and help guide them through this pivotal season of life.

Whether it’s leading a small group, creating a fun and welcoming environment, or supporting behind the scenes, there’s a place for you on the Journey Students team.
