What is the difference between Core and Core Plus?
  • The Core Program is designed for leaders who wish to grow in their knowledge of biblically-based leadership principles, and are new to leadership or are marketplace leaders. Core leaders attend class on Wednesday evenings, and gather one, serve one each weekend.
  • The Core Plus Program is designed for leaders with a calling to lead within the local church. These leaders will receive a holistic experience, which prepares them mentally, emotionally, spiritually and practically to lead at a high capacity in a ministry environment.
What is the time commitment?
  • Evening Program takes place on Wednesday nights from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  • For the Core program, leaders attend a Ministry Leadership class from Highlands College and attend small group discussions.
  • For the Core Plus program, leaders attend a Ministry Leadership class and participate in Ministry Training labs. Leaders also lead at additional times based on their specific ministry areas and are present for 3 weekends each month.
How much does it cost?
  • The tuition for the Core Program is $575.
  • The tuition for the Core Plus Program is $750. (Scholarships are available on a case by case basis)
Is there a payment plan?

What is a Directed Study?

As a Core Plus leader, your Directed Study course is a focus in a specific area of ministry. Throughout this course, you will have assignments and serve opportunities that focus on the area of ministry related to your Directed Study. Our Evening Program offers Directed Studies in the following areas:
