Here at The Journey, we believe that when we trust God with every area of our lives, including our finances, we see him work in powerful ways.

Everything we do is driven by our desire to see God’s kingdom grow. We don’t just create spaces for our church to exist, but to see God’s will be done in Journey City. We have already seen thousands of people in our area find the hope of Jesus, and it’s all through your generosity.

BEYOND

We’re currently on a journey called BEYOND where we’re asking God to do more than we could ask or think through our generosity. BEYOND is built around formation, compassion, and expansion and it’s our opportunity to go beyond where we’ve gone before to impact Journey City with the hope of Jesus.

If you would like to give by check, you can mail your gift to our Newark offices. Please label your envelope with Attn: Giving, and put the fund you are giving towards in the memo line on your check. Thank you for your generosity!

Where does your giving go when you give to The Journey?

Giving FAQs

Yes! Our online giving provider, Pushpay, is certified with the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standards (DSS) as a Level 1 Service Provider. You can rest easy knowing that your giving is completely secure.

If you’re using a credit or debit card to give, use the card expiration date. You’ll receive an email reminder when you need to update your information. You can then select the frequency and the start and end dates of your giving.

We recognize that giving is a big step. It can be scary and intimidating. But we also believe that giving is an important part of spiritual growth, so we want to make it easy to try. We encourage you to take the 90-Day Tithe Challenge. Make a commitment to give your first here for 90 days, and if at the end of that time you haven’t seen God bless it, we’ll give it all back. Yep, we’re serious – we’ll give it all back. What do you have to lose?

  • Have you seen God fill the gaps in your life when it comes to your faith? What has that looked like for you? We believe that God will show up in the gaps in your finances, just like he did in those other areas of your life. We encourage you to try giving for a few weeks. Could you do it for 30/60/90 days? If, after that time, you decide it’s the worst decision you’ve ever made, we’ll give everything back to you. It’s also the only place in the Bible where God gives us permission to test him. (Mal 3:10)
